We love supporting the academic efforts of our Solon High School students.

We offer a variety of programs that recognize academic improvement as well as achievement!

Solon Academic Booster’s Programs:

Rising Star – Students recognized for academic efforts (1 student per class each grading period).

Academic Letter Awards – A recognition assembly is held for students maintaining a 3.5 or above grade point average for the academic year at Solon High School.

Strive for .5 – Students recognized for improved grade point average of .5 or more from one grading period to another.

National Merit Scholars – National Merit commended and semi-finalist students are recognized for their performance on the PSAT.

Graduation Medals – Seniors attaining a grade point average of 3.5 and above for seven semesters receive engraved medals to wear at graduation.

Shining Stars – SHS seniors nominate faculty/staff/coach/extracurricular advisor who have been meaningful to them during their time at SHS. Recipients receive a Shining Star certificate listing each of the names of student that nominate them.
